Monmouthshire Connected Dance Company is Dance Blast's adult inclusive dance company.
MCDC meets at the Dance Centre every Tuesday in term time 7.30pm to 9pm. We are a company of disabled and non disabled dancers.
MCDC company members are a group of dedicated dancers who have made a commitment to regular weekly rehearsals and to perform as a company.
We have performed at The Dance Centre, Abergavenny Castle and The Borough Theatre in Abergavenny, The Riverfront in Newport, The Dance House & CultVR in Cardiff ,The Met in Abertillery and YMA in Pontypridd.
Since 2018 MCDC has performed, every year, alongside our youth dance company, MYDC, as part of the Arts Council funded Ignite Project. We have worked with commissioned choreographers/directors: Citrus Arts, Karol Cysewski, Eli Lewis, Richard Chapell, Alex Marshall Parsons, Kim Noble, Elle Kate and Kevin Turner MBE.

We always ensure that MCDC is lled by a well-repected choreographer. Kim Noble replaced Sarah Rogers in Sept 2025 and is currently the Artistic Director for both MCDC and our youth company MYDC.
MCDC: Our Journey
'MCDC: Our Journey' tells the story of the creation of DanceBlast's Inclusive Dance Company 'Monmouthshire Connected Dance Company from 2014 through to March 2020, since when MCDC has continued to thrive.
There are many performance opportunities for members of MCDC.
