Ignite 2016 is here!

Dance Blast’s pioneering youth dance development project features duo Beth Powlesland and Eithne Kane who have worked with Tilted Productions and Earthfall, and John Ross, Winner of Matthew Bourne’s Choreographer Award, alongside youth company members' own choreographic work and guests National Dance Company Wales Associates. This year also showcases original music played live by newly formed Band Blast, made up of talented local musicians led by Lewis Hornsby. In addition we are delighted to announce that 'Ignite' will see the premiere of our newly formed disAbility Dance Company, a company specifically for those with physical/learning disabilities and difficulties, performing their new integrated piece with members of MYDC.

With dancers ranging in age the performance will be an explosion of peoples' creativity and energy that promises to delight and enthral. A moving evening of dance not to be missed!
