DiverseAbility Dance 

Monmouthshire Connected Dance Company - 1 1/2 hour long session. The aim of this group is to develop dance, performance and choreographic skills, with an emphasis on creativity and building self confidence. MCDC also has regular additional rehearsals and performances. (for ages 16 plus)

 

Tuesday 7.30-9.00pm  Monmouthshire Connected Dance Company for ages 16yrs+ (Dance Blast's diverse ability dance company) 

Weekly Dance-Ability Classes - open access dance classes - focusing on the development of simple movement patterns, working together in a fun and friendly atmosphere. (for children, young people & adults)

Mondays 4.00pm -4.45pm Danceability Juniors (school age up to 13yrs)

Tuesdays 6.00pm-7.00pm Danceability Youth (13yrs -25yrs)

 

Thursdays 6.30-7.30 Adults Danceability

About our DiverseAbility work.

Dance Blast is committed to providing opportunities for all members of the community to participate in the arts, regardless of ability. All our DiverseAbility classes are inclusive, non-disabled dancers are very welcome.  

 

Due to the ongoing risk of COVID 19 we will be limiting the numbers of dancers in all our classes. The aims of Dance Blast's DiverseAbility programme:

 

  • to provide disabled members of the community the opportunity to participate in dance activities in a safe and creative environment, alongside their non-disabled peers

  • to provide opportunities for disabled people to experience the process of creativity through dance

  • to provide opportunities for disabled people to develop their dance skills

  • to provide opportunities for disabled people to perform
